Vitamins and Minerals

We learned in the Nutrition page that proper nutrition means eating the right foods so our bodies will get the vitamins and minerals they need. Our bodies need vitamins and minerals to function. Different parts of our bodies like our eyes, brains, muscles, and bones need different nutrients to grow and be healthy.

Here is a list of Vitamins and Minerals that our bodies need:

  • eyes, immune system, skin
  • milk, eggs, orange and green vegetables

  • Bones, blood vessels, teeth, gums, healing, brain
