Teachers and Librarians

First off, thanks for all your hard work. As Albert Einstein once said:

"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge."

We hope Ducksters will be a good resource for you as well as a reference for your students. We are constantly adding new content. To get the latest updates you can follow us on Facebook.

Content Description

Ducksters content has an educational side as well as an entertainment side. Today the educational portion includes history/social studies, science, biographies, math, reading, animals, music, and geography.

On the entertainment side there are games (including some educational games), movie lists, jokes for kids, music, hobbies, sports, news, and more.

We try to write articles that are informative, easy to read, and interesting. There is definitely a balance between keeping the pages too simple and creating a wall of text. We welcome your feedback in this area.

The Articles and Resources

The educational articles are written using many sources. Most all articles use multiple books for fact verification. Some information is crosschecked using web resources. Some sources are cited on a subject's main article for further reading. For example, at the bottom of the main ancient china page, additional resources are listed.

All articles are proofread by a certified MLS librarian. However, no one is perfect. Please see below if you find any errors, we would welcome your feedback to improve the site.

Citation

To help students cite a specific web page, all pages have the MLA type citation listed at the bottom of the page. The title from the html code is used as the title for the page.

Custom Search for Your School

If you would like us to create a custom search page for your school, email us at feedback@ducksters.com. Please include "SEARCH" in your subject line. You can list what websites you would like included in the search. We will then make the page and send you your unique link.

Feedback

We welcome and appreciate all feedback we can get. Please send any errors that need to be corrected or suggestions for new subjects or activities to:

feedback@ducksters.com

Please include "ERROR" or "SUGGESTION" in the subject line. We will make every effort to correct errors immediately.
