Disney Channel's Camp Rock 2 is Coming Summer 2010
Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam is a Disney Channel Original Movie sequel to the popular Camp Rock movie of Summer 2008. Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam is scheduled to premiere on the Disney Channel on June 25, 2010. Demi Lavato (Mitchie) and the Jonas Brothers; Joe (Shane), Kevin (Jason), and Nick (Nate) are back as well as other camp favorites including Meaghan Martin (Tess).
The campers return to camp for a summer of fun and singing when they learn of a rival camp, Camp Star, which has opened across the lake that has taken many of their campers away. The best singer from Camp Star is Luke Williams played by Matthew Finley. Luke challenges the Camp Rock campers to a sing off to see which camp really has the best talent. So the summer is spent preparing for this battle of the bands. Another Camp Star camper we meet is Dana played by Chloe Bridges. A little trivia is that Chloe originally lost the part of Mitchie to Demi Lavato in the original Camp Rock movie.
Of course romance is in the air when the Jonas Brothers are involved. The romance between Joe Jonas (Shane) and Demi Lavoto (Mitchie) continues as well as a romance for Nick Jonas (Nate) as he falls in love with the daughter of the owner of Camp Star, Dana, in a Romeo and Juliet twist.
The soundtrack will feature mixture of pop, rock and hip hop and is sure to top the charts with Tweens this summer. So get ready for Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam to invade the summer of 2010.
