David Henrie is an actor best known for his role as Justin Russo on the popular Disney Channel kids TV show Wizards of Waverly Place.
David's big break came when he landed the lead role as Justin Russo on Wizards of Waverly Place in 2007. The show has been one of the most popular kid's TV shows over the last several years and David's fame and popularity has risen with the show.
Where did David Henrie grow up?
David was born in Mission Viejo California on July 11, 1989. His family moved to Phoenix, Arizona when he was two and he lived there until he was ten. At ten years old they moved back to California to be near Hollywood so David could pursue his acting career. It paid off!
How did David Henrie get into acting?
At the age of five David was doing some local commercials and modeling, but it wasn't until he was nine when a director from New York told David's mom that he thought David was talented and could make it in acting. Soon they moved to Hollywood and David started studying acting. When he was twelve he got the role as Petey Pitt in the sitcom The Pitts. The show didn't last long, but David soon got the recurring role as Larry on Disney Channel's That's So Raven. He landed other roles too as a guest star on such shows as NCIS, Judging Amy, House, Cold Case, and How I Met Your Mother.
What will David Henrie do next?
David has said that he wants to get involved in all aspects of the TV and movie industry. He wrote the script for one of the Wizard's of Waverly Place episodes and has interest in directing, producing, and writing. He's even started his own production company called YUTE. We're guessing that David will continue in acting as well, perhaps taking on more movie roles in the future.
