Disney's High School Musical 3: Senior Year will be released October 24th

The third movie in Disney's popular High School Musical movie series will be released next month on October 24th, 2008. This is the first of the High School Musical movies that will be released in movie theaters. The first two were made for TV and debuted on the Disney Channel.

The third installment of High School Musical will have many of the same popular characters including Troy Boltan (Zack Efron), Gabriella Montez (Vanessa Anne Hutgens), Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale), Ryan Evans (Lucas Grabeel), and Chad Danforth (Corbin Bleu). In the story, the main characters are now in their senior year of high school. They are excited about graduating and moving on in their lives, but they will miss each other. Troy and Gabriella wonder what will happen if they are separated as they go to different colleges. As the rest of the school mates make their plans, they also prepare and perform a spring musical that expresses what they are going through.

Like the earlier movies, High School Musical 3: Senior Year, will have lots of good song and dance numbers. The Soundtrack for the movie will be out on October 21st, 2008. It will include two already released songs; Now or Never, by the HSM 3 cast, and I Want it All, by Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel.

There will also be some new characters introduced in the movie. Could this mean there will be a High School Musical 4? Who knows?

The movie is directed by Kenny Ortega who also directed the first two movies. We expect it will be a huge hit!
