Walt Disney's Tarzan
Movie and DVD Review

Rating: G

"Walt Disney's Tarzan (G) is an animated adaptation of Edgar Rice Burrough's classic story of the ape man. When his parents are killed, baby Tarzan is found by the ape Kala and raised as her child. Although Tarzan learns to survive as an ape, he realizes that he is somehow different."

"When the humans, Jane and her father come to the jungle to study the apes, Tarzan finds out his true identity. Tarzan has to defend the apes from poachers and decide if returning to civilization with Jane is what he should do."

"Although the movie is G Rated, there are a couple of scenes of peril that may frighten the youngest of viewers."

"Tarzan's soundtrack is as enjoyable as the movie, including 5 songs from superstar Phil Collins."

I would recommend Tarzan for family viewing.
