"Walt Disney's The Chronicles of Narnia The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is the first in a series of movies to be created based on the books of C.S. Lewis by the same title. The movie was in theaters Christmas 2005 and on DVD in 2006."

"The film carries a PG rating for battle sequences and frightening moments. I would agree that parents should consider if their child is prepared for viewing certain scenes. We had read the book to my 6 year old, so she knew what to expect, but we still kept her from seeing some scenes - the magic of fast forward."

The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe is beautifully done and does great credit to the book. It brings the magical land of Narnia to life. The child actors are very well cast and a treat to watch. When Aslan the Lion appears on the screen it was a magical moment.

"I would recommend viewing for ages 8 and up. Once your child has seen this movie, there are 6 more books in the series so get them reading"
