Movie and DVD Review

"Dreamworks Shrek 2 (PG) is almost better than the original Shrek movie. The storyline starts right where it left off with scenes from Shrek and Fiona's honeymoon. Now Shrek must go home to Far Far Away and meet his new in-laws. Of course this doesn't go smoothly. Fiona was supposed to marry Prince Charming and spend her life as a princess, not an ogre."

"All of the main characters are back, including Eddie Murphy as donkey who once again steals the show. The addition of Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots is great."

"The PG rating is for some crude humor, a brief drug reference and some suggestive content. These are really mild and there for the parents, even though the film would have been just as good without. Why is everyone but Disney afraid to make a G rated movie these days?"

I would recommend Shrek 2 for family viewing.
