Shrek Movie and DVD Review Rating: PG "Shrek (PG) is a good family movie. The story is of an ogre (voiced by Mike Meyers) and his newly found sidekick, a donkey (voiced by Eddie Murphy) who must save Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz) so Shrek can have his swamp land back. The princess and Shrek grow fond of each other, but the princess has a secret about her true identity. Will true love win in the end? A fantastic ending sets the scene for its sequel, Shrek 2." Eddie Murphy as the donkey really steals the show. The fairy tale characters like the gingerbread man also have great scenes. "The PG rating is for mild language and some crude humor, mainly what I would call bathroom humor." I would recommend Shrek for family viewing.
