Movie and DVD Review

"Disney/Pixar's Monsters, INC.(G) is another outstanding animated film from Disney Pixar. The premise of the movie itself is ingenious. In the land of monsters, the energy the monsters use is produced by children's screams. The Monster Power plant has all of the closet doors of every child in the world. When put in a docking station, the monster can enter the child's room through their closet, collect a canister of scream, and return to the plant."

"Trouble arises when Power Production is down and one of the monsters, Randall, wants to capture children to harvest their screams. The monsters believe that children are toxic to the touch, so a small girl named Boo who gets into Monster land causes quite a stir. The two main monsters, Sully and Mike (voiced by John Goodman and Billy Crystal) try to help Boo and realize in the end that laughter is more powerful than screams."

"This is also a must own DVD just for the special features. There are two animated shorts, 'Mike's New Car', and 'For the Birds' that my children enjoy almost as much as the movie. The bloopers will also entertain"

"Disney Pixar's Monsters, INC. is highly recommended for family viewing."
