Kids News Back to Kids News January 19, 2006 Top 10 Selling Video Games in 2005 The top 10 selling video games for theUS in 2005 are out.   The PlayStation 2 led the way with 8 out of the top 10 games.  Sports games had half of the top 10 with 5 sports games coming in the top 10.  Star Wars also made an impressive showing with 3 out of the top 10 games.  The year 2005 was also a record year for video game sales.
