Dylan and Cole Sprouse

Dylan and Cole Sprouse are twin brothers who have been successful actors from a very young age. They are mostly known for starring in two Disney Channel TV comedy series; first in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and then in the spin-off The Suite Life on Deck.

What was their first acting job?

The brothers got a very early start working on TV as their first job was the baby on the show Grace Under Fire. They shared this job both playing the part of Patrick Kelly. At the age of 7 they again played a dual role as Adam Sandler's kid in the movie Big Daddy. The next several years they had many roles including guest appearances on Friends and That 70's Show.

Around the age of 13, in 2005, they were cast in the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Dylan played Zack Martin, the outgoing, funny, but not as smart brother. Cole played Cody, the brainy brother who always followed the rules. Once the boys grew older the show spun off to a new show called The Suite Life on Deck. They added new cast members and moved from a hotel to a cruise ship. There are plans for a movie version of the show in 2011.

Where did Dylan and Cole grow up?

The brothers were born on August 4, 1992 in Arezzo, Italy. They didn't live in Italy long, however, and grew up in Long Beach, California. They have been acting pretty much all of their lives. While working on the set of their TV show, the boys got their school via tutoring several hours a day.

Are they identical twins?

Yes, they are identical twins. However, as they have grown older they have started to look different. When they were younger it was difficult to tell them apart allowing them to often play the same role in movies and TV.
